Everything was yummy!! Turkey club made with homemade bread and hamburgers. PB pie was the to die for!!!!! A must go when in Riverview
Went on Sunday night, was very quiet! Ordered a club with French fries, I’m one to say I’m especially picky when it comes to fries, these fries were so crispy with a soft inside. Mouth waters thinking about it 🙂
My fiance and I are regulars at this restaurant. We go every weekend because the atmosphere, quantity, and quality of the food is great! We usually get the mini breakfast for brunch, and for lunch, we get the Country Fried Chicken or the Club Sandwich, both with french fries.
Always great food and great service…we eat here a lot. Breakfasts are the best!!
I just love this place. The food is wonderful and the service friendly and efficient. I never miss a chance to eat here. The special and the breakfasts are especially good, but my favorite is the club with homemade bread. It is the best club sandwich anywhere fro Florida to NB.
Whenever we visit family in N.B., we always make a point to eat at the Homestead Restaurant. The restaurant is clean, service is prompt and the homestyle cooking is always good but our favorite that we can’t do without is the peanut butter pie! Actually all the pies and cakes are terrific.
We started with a cup of soup. It was warm and hearty. Lots of home made bread for dipping. Enjoyed the braised beef and mashed potatoes. Finished with a wonderful piece of rhubarb pie. Can’t wait to go back. It’s wonderful every time. Service is quick. They know what you need before you ask. 🙂
Great family restaurant, homemade bread, good portions, friendly fast service. Food always hot, and everyones food come at the same time. Best bang for your buck.
I’ve tried Homestead for brunch one week end and absolutely loved it! Get there early, the place gets packed on week-ends, but it was worth it, the waitresses were super friendly, and the food delicious. It’s one of the last restaurant around that has that “homy” feel to it!
Popped in for lunch while running errands. Awesome mom food! Breakfast all day! Had the turkey sandwich special, came with mashed potatoes, turnip and peas. Just like being at home! Ate my veggies so I could have dessert. Had a huge date square, omnom.
Homemade bread, great pancakes, bacon, sausage. Very busy lots of families
As I always say “best clubhouse sandwich in North America”, made on homemade bread and white meat only turkey. I’m not a fries lover, but the fries here are delicious!!
ALL the food is amazing at the Homestead. Don’t fill up too much on your main dish because you absolutely can’t skip dessert! I would go every day there just for the food alone, but the people who work there are all so nice, you just never want to leave
The menu may be “comfort food” but the bread and the desserts are all homemade! Their carrot cake is to die for! Very popular for Sunday brunch!
everytime i go there they got the best brefast lunch brunch supper anything to cure your hunger i get stuffed after leaving it so good
I’ve been eating here for years. I have never had a negative experience. Every time I’ve been at the Homestead, the staff has been super friendly, fast, and they know their menu inside and out.
This is a place that’s a staple of Riverview and never disappoints. They’ve been serving home-style comfort food for well over 20 years and they take their reputation very seriously. Your cup of coffee is always full, and the home made bread with real pats of butter can’t be beat. They Peanut Butter Pie had a reputation that’s talked about…
This is my all time favorite restaurant… ANYWHERE. We go here at least twice a week and I would live here if I could. Everything is homemade… Even the desserts. My favorite meal is either the breakfast with homemade toast or the hot turkey sandwich with a scoop of dressing.
